EH Athletics News - April 17, 2017

• Our Varsity softball team is off to a 6-2 start. Their only two losses came in extra innings to ranked opponents (Tri & HSE). They are currently ranked #8 in the IHSAA Class 2A poll. 
• Our baseball team is currently 4-4. That includes a 6-3 win over IHSAA Class 2A #10 Knightstown in game 1 of their doubleheader this past Saturday. 
• Both our boys and girls track teams finished in 2nd place the past Saturday at the Small School Invitational at Randolph So. 1st Place finishes included. 
• Girls- Lexi Lewman (Long Jump), Taylor Stine (400m), Boys- Reece Burkhart (Shot & Discus), 4 x 400 Relay( (Brinson, C. Settergren, Bowers, Sarber), 4 x 100 Relay (Sarber, C. Settergren, Moore, Brinson), Blayze Sarber (400m), Devyn Brinson (300 H), 
• Congrats to our MS Boys track and 8th grade softball teams- both were victorious over Greenfield last week. 
• This week’s Royal Pride Athletes of the Week are:
• HS- Levi Majority, Baseball 
• MS- Hayden Craney, MS Baseball

EH Athletics News - April 10, 2017

• Our Varsity softball team is off to a 2-0 start. That includes a thrilling come from behind 9-8 win over Shelbyville this past Friday. They are back in action against Heritage Christian tonight. 5:30pm start. 
• Congrats to the following boys basketball players who earned post season honors 
• Addison True- 1st Team IBCA Small School All-State, 1st Team All-County 
• Brycen Napier- 2nd Team All County 
• AJ Muegge, Duncan Cherry, Jacob Eischen- Honorable Mention All-County

EH Athletics News - March 13, 2017

• This past Saturday we had our last winter event (MS Wrestling at Tri) and our first Spring Event (HS Track to the Anderson Univ. Indoor Invite). 
• This Thursday our HS track teams will open up their outdoor season when they travel to Knightstown to take on the Panthers. 5pm start. 
• This Wednesday we will have our winter awards night. It will be at 7pm. We will all start in the HS gym and then do breakouts from there. 
• Our Annual Methodist Sports Med Athletic Physical Night will be Tuesday, April 4th at 6:30pm. Physicals are now on sale in the athletic office. Price is $25. 
• This week’s Royal Pride Athletes of the Week are:
• HS- Chase Settergren, Boys Track & Field

EH Athletics News - February 27, 2017

• Congrats to Addison True who this past Tuesday became just the 5th player in EH boys basketball history to score 1000 points in their career. The previous 4 were Dustin Smith (1444), Derek Harmon (1415), Pete Hubert (1210) and Richard O’Neal (1123) 
• The Varsity boys basketball will open up Sectional Play tomorrow night at Triton Central. They will take on Irvington Prep at 6pm. Below is the entire schedule for the Sectional.

EH Athletics News - February 21, 2017

• On March 18th our Athletic Boosters will conduct the Annual EH 3 on 3 basketball tourney. We have some new divisions. Opportunities are available for all ages and genders! CLICK HERE for more info/registration form.
• Our boys swim team competed at the New Pal Sectional this past week. Below are some of the highlights:  Team placed 9th with 93 pts 
• SCHOOL RECORDS: Chris Walton: 500 Free- 5:11.70, Chris Walton: 100 Back-59.78, Elijah Harris: 100 Free -53.34, 200 Free Relay: Harris, Henderson, Coffin, and Walton-1:40.47, 400 Free Relay: Harris, Henderson, Coffin, and Walton -3:41.73 
• The tournament draw came out yesterday for boys basketball. Below is the schedule for the sectional. ALL GAMES AT TRITON CENTRAL.
