EH Athletics News - March 12, 2018

• Our high school track teams opened up their season this past Saturday in the Patriot Indoor Invitational at Anderson University. Several of our athletes are in the running to qualify for Class 1A, 2A, 3A Indoor State. They include the following:
• Boys 4 x 400 Relay team of Connor Bennett, Daniel Campbell, Blayze Sarber, and Skyler Schrope (3:48.23), Boys 4 x 800 Relay team of Westin Bishop, Daniel Campbell, Nick Edwards, and Will Huffman (9:09.27), Girls 4 x 200 Relay team of Kayla Fancher, Lexi Lewman, Aly Spaulding, and Chloe O’Neal (1:55.80), Girls 4 x 400 Relay team of Taylor Stine, Hannah Gates, Kayla Fancher, and Chloe O’Neal (4:27.21), Girls Long Jump Aly Spaulding 15’1 ¾ “ 
• The high school track teams have their first outdoor meet this Thursday when they host the Knightstown Panthers. 5pm start. Pray for warm weather 😊 
• This Saturday the EH Athletic Boosters will be hosting their annual 3 on 3 Basketball tourney. Brackets are available for both genders and all ages.  
• Also on Saturday in conjunction with the 3 on 3 tourney the Royal Pride for Parents group with be conducting an athletic gear rummage sale. If you have items you would like to donate towards the sale they can be brought in any time this week or on Friday from 6-8pm. 
• This week’s Royal Pride Athletes of the Week are:

EH Athletics News - March 5, 2018

• Our Varsity Track teams will open up their season this Saturday as they travel to Anderson University to participate in the Patriot Indoor Invitational. Start time will be 3pm. 
• Congrats to Cameron Volz who was the Middle School Hancock County Wrestling Champion in the 70lb Weight Class! 
• On Saturday, March 17th the EH Athletic Boosters will host their Annual 3 on 3 Basketball tourney. For the first time this year teams can sign up online at https://easternhancock3on3.eventbrite.com . CLICK HERE for more info.
• On Tuesday, April 10th EH will host its annual Methodist Sports Medicine Physical Night at 6pm. Physicals are $25 and will go on sale later this week in the athletic office.

EH Athletics News - February 21, 2017

• On March 18th our Athletic Boosters will conduct the Annual EH 3 on 3 basketball tourney. We have some new divisions. Opportunities are available for all ages and genders! CLICK HERE for more info/registration form.
• Our boys swim team competed at the New Pal Sectional this past week. Below are some of the highlights:  Team placed 9th with 93 pts 
• SCHOOL RECORDS: Chris Walton: 500 Free- 5:11.70, Chris Walton: 100 Back-59.78, Elijah Harris: 100 Free -53.34, 200 Free Relay: Harris, Henderson, Coffin, and Walton-1:40.47, 400 Free Relay: Harris, Henderson, Coffin, and Walton -3:41.73 
• The tournament draw came out yesterday for boys basketball. Below is the schedule for the sectional. ALL GAMES AT TRITON CENTRAL.
• Tue. Irvington Prep Academy [17-3] vs. Eastern Hancock [12-8] 6pm 
• Tue. Triton Central [9-12] vs. Indianapolis Howe [16-7] 7:30pm 
• Fri. Shenandoah [16-4] vs. Winner Game 1 6pm 
• Fri. Knightstown [3-17] vs. Winner Game 2 7:30pm 
• Sat. Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 4 7:30pm 
• Congrats to the 5th & 6th Grade boys basketball teams. Both were champions of the EH Invitational this past Saturday.
