- Our Lady Royal Varsity Basketball team opened up its season with a 55-38 win over Centerville.
- Our 8th Grade boys basketball team is off to a 4-0 start. They have defeated South Decatur, North Decatur, Shenandoah, & Lapel.
- Our Varsity Wrestling team will open up its season Saturday when they travel to Indianapolis Tech for the John Hurrle Invitational. 9am start.
- Our Boys Varsity Basketball team will participate in the MEC Jamboree on Saturday at Monroe Central. They will play Blue River for a half around 6pm.
- This Wednesday will be Fall Sports Awards. They will begin in the high school gym at 7pm.

EH Athletics News - October 1, 2018
- This past Saturday our HS & MS Cross Country teams competed in the MEC Conference meet.
- Overall our HS boys team finished 3rd. Daniel Campbell (3rd) & Skyler Schrope (5th) earned All- Conference honors. Our HS girls team finished 6th. Annie Lindsay earned All -Conference honors by finishing 10th. Our MS boys team finished 4th. Edric Miller was the overall MS Boys Conference Champ. Preston Markley finished 2nd. Our top finisher for MS girls was Mikayla Hardy who finished 19th.
- Our V/JV Volleyball teams have their last two home games this week. They host Triton Central Monday & Knightstown Tuesday. They travel to Waldron on Thursday. The sectional will take place at Knightstown next week.
- This Friday our football team hosts the Shenandoah Raiders. It will also be our Annual FFA Hog Roast.

- Congrats to our Girls MS Tennis Team- this past Saturday they were Champions of the EHMS Tennis Invite! Other teams participating were GC, Lapel, and Shenandoah. The girls team also is a perfect 7-0 on the season. Individual Champions at the MS Tennis Invite included.

- Skyler Schrope (6th Place) and Daniel Campbell (18th Place) had a Top 20 finish at the HS Cross Country Invite at Indiana Wesleyan this past Saturday. Edric Miller (14th Place) and Preston Markley (20th) had top finish in the boys MS XC race also at IWU!
- Out of the 5 spots in the boys conference tennis match we have 4 going to the Championship round. Kodey Huff at 1 Singles, Kegan Kendall at 3 Singles, Keegan Bowman & Brady Ellis at 1 Doubles, and Peyton Robertson & Sam Blocher at 2 Doubles. Each of them won in the first round this past Saturday before rain set in. The Championship rounds will be played on a date yet to be determined.

- Congrats to both our boys and girls track teams who were EHHS Invitational Champions this past Thursday! Also, congrats to Skyler Schrope & Taylor Stine who were male and female Athletes of the Meet! 1st place finishers on the night included:

- This past Tuesday our Boys golf team shot their best 9 Hole score in several years. They shot a 173. Individual scores were:

- With an 11-2 win over Randolph Southern on Friday the Varsity softball team moved to 4-0 in the MEC!

- Zach Arnold in the 200 (he held in for about one minute- until Cole Rainbolt broke it in the next Heat!). Cole Rainbolt also broke the LJ record, Jacob Spaulding in the 200 Hurdles

EH Athletics News - April 23, 2018
- Congrats to John McDaniel who was the Hancock County Individual Champion in middle school golf. John shot a 40 at Royal Hylands this past Saturday to lead the pack!
- Both the boys and girls track teams finished 4th out of 9 teams at the Guerin Catholic Invite this past Saturday. Individual winners included:
- Taylor Stine in the Girls 400 Meter Dash (1:02.53), Brady Stephens in the Boys Shot Put (44-02.50), Girls 4 x 100 Relay Team of Kayla Fancher, Lexi Lewman, Aly Spaulding, and Chloe O’Neal (53.15)
- This week they will host the Eastern Hancock Track Invitational this Thursday.
- This past week in Varsity softball Jessie Potts tossed a No-Hitter vs. Morristown & Elise Bittinger pitched a Shut-out vs. Daleville in wins this past week.
- AJ Muegge was name 1st Team Academic All-State by the IBCA for Boys Basketball.

- Congrats to both are Boys & Girls HS Track teams. They were champions of the Small School Invitational at Randolph Southern this past Saturday. Individual Champions included
- Hannah Gates, 100M Hurdles, Kayla Fancher, 100 Dash, 4 x 100 Relay Team of Fancher, Spaulding, Lewman, & O’Neal, Chloe O’Neal, 400 M Dash, 4 x 400 Relay Team of Fancher, Effing, Gates, & O’Neal, Aly Spaulding, Long Jump, Bailey Allen, Shot Put, 4 x 800 Relay Team of Huffman, Sotelo, Schrope, & Campbell, Skyler Sexton, 300 M Hurdles, 4 x 400 Relay Team of Schrope, Campbell, Sotelo, & Sarber, Long Jump, Kyle Moore
- Girls Tennis has a big week this week which will include County at MV on Friday and Conference at Shenandoah on Saturday.
- The Boys MS track team is off to a 2-0 start including a resounding win over Greenfield!
- Congrats to Addison True who yesterday committed to play Basketball at Hanover University.

EH Athletics News - March 27, 2018
- Congrats to Chloe O’Neal who set a new EH girls long jump record with a jump of 17’0.5” at the Indoor State Track & Field Meet this past Saturday at IU. Her jump earned her a 2nd place finish. Other notable performances on the day included.
- The girls 4 x 200 relay team of Kayla Fancher, Taylor Stine, Aly Spaulding, & O’Neal finished in 9th place. The girls 4 x 400 relay team of Fancher, Stine, O’Neal, & Hannah Gates finished 10th. The boys 4 X 4 relay team of Skyler Schrope, Skyler Sexton, Daniel Campbell, & Blayze Sarber finished in 13th place. The boys 4 x 200 relay team Kyle Moore, Sexton, Chase Settergren, & Sarber finished 14th. The boys 4 x 800 relay team of Will Huffman, Campbell, Cayden Sotelo, & Schrope finished in 15th place.
- Our Varsity baseball team will hopefully open up it’s season Wednesday when they host Cowan in a MEC match up. Weather permitting.
- Congrats to Addison True who will participate in the Hoosier Basketball Magazine Top 60 Seniors Workout this Saturday at Beech Grove High School. He was also named to the IBCA Small School All-State team for the 2nd consecutive year.
- AJ Muegge, Addison True, Tyler Castle, Peyton Gray, and Skyler Schrope will be participating in the MEC vs. TEC All-Star basketball games on Friday, April 14th at Northeastern High School. The junior game will begin at 6:30pm and the Senior game at 8pm.

- We have had several of our track athletes qualify for the Indoor State Meet which will take place next Saturday at IU Bloomington. They include the following:
- 4 x 200 Relay team of Kayla Fancher, Taylor Stine, Aly Spaulding, & Chloe O’Neal, 4 X 400 Relay team of Taylor Stine, Kayla Fancher, Hannah Gates, & Chloe O’Neal, 4 x 400 Relay Team of Skyler Schrope, Skyler Sexton, Daniel Campbell, & Blayze Sarber, 4 x 800 Relay Team of Will Huffman, Daniel Campbell, Cayden Sotelo, & Skyler Schrope
- The Varsity Softball team will open up its season on Thursday when the travel to Randolph So. for an MEC matchup. 5:30pm
- This Wednesday evening at 7pm will be our winter Athletic Awards. All winter sports will begin in the high school gym and we will do breakouts from there.

- Our high school track teams opened up their season this past Saturday in the Patriot Indoor Invitational at Anderson University. Several of our athletes are in the running to qualify for Class 1A, 2A, 3A Indoor State. They include the following:
- Boys 4 x 400 Relay team of Connor Bennett, Daniel Campbell, Blayze Sarber, and Skyler Schrope (3:48.23), Boys 4 x 800 Relay team of Westin Bishop, Daniel Campbell, Nick Edwards, and Will Huffman (9:09.27), Girls 4 x 200 Relay team of Kayla Fancher, Lexi Lewman, Aly Spaulding, and Chloe O’Neal (1:55.80), Girls 4 x 400 Relay team of Taylor Stine, Hannah Gates, Kayla Fancher, and Chloe O’Neal (4:27.21), Girls Long Jump Aly Spaulding 15’1 ¾ “
- The high school track teams have their first outdoor meet this Thursday when they host the Knightstown Panthers. 5pm start. Pray for warm weather 😊
- This Saturday the EH Athletic Boosters will be hosting their annual 3 on 3 Basketball tourney. Brackets are available for both genders and all ages.
- Also on Saturday in conjunction with the 3 on 3 tourney the Royal Pride for Parents group with be conducting an athletic gear rummage sale. If you have items you would like to donate towards the sale they can be brought in any time this week or on Friday from 6-8pm.

- Our Varsity Track teams will open up their season this Saturday as they travel to Anderson University to participate in the Patriot Indoor Invitational. Start time will be 3pm.
- Congrats to Cameron Volz who was the Middle School Hancock County Wrestling Champion in the 70lb Weight Class!
- On Saturday, March 17th the EH Athletic Boosters will host their Annual 3 on 3 Basketball tourney. For the first time this year teams can sign up online at https://easternhancock3on3.eventbrite.com . CLICK HERE for more info.
- On Tuesday, April 10th EH will host its annual Methodist Sports Medicine Physical Night at 6pm. Physicals are $25 and will go on sale later this week in the athletic office.

EH Athletics News - February 19, 2018
- Congrats to our Boys Swim team who finished with over 100 points in the Sectional for the 1st time in school history! Four school records fell which included:
- 200 Medley Relay: 1:48.16 (Walton, Henderson, Coffin, and Harris), 500 Free: Chris Walton: 5:02.52, 100 Free: Elijah Harris: 50.82, 400 Free Relay: 3:29.23 (Henderson, Coffin, Walton, and Harris)
- Congrats to the Varsity Boys Basketball team who earned a share of the MEC Conference Championship with a win Friday night. The Royals finished 8-1 and will be Co-Champs with the winner of the Shenandoah/Wapahani game this coming Friday.
- Congrats to Addison True who on Friday became the All-Time leading scorer and rebounder in school history. He currently has 1450 points and 579 rebounds.
- With 3 wins this past week the 6th grade girls basketball team moved to a perfect 10-0 on the year. They will end their season this week with a tourney at Mount Vernon.
- Congrats to both the 5th Grade & 6th Grade Boys Basketball teams. The each won the EH Invite this past Saturday. The 5th Grade finished 12-4 and the 6th Grade 14-2.

EH Athletics News - February 12, 2018
- This week is the IHSAA boys swim sectional. They will compete at New Pal. Prelims will be on Thursday evening. 5:30pm start. Finals will be on Saturday at 1pm.
- Congrats to our 6th Grade boys basketball team who were champions of the Union County Invite this past Saturday. They are currently 11-2 on the season.
- Our 6th grade girls basketball is currently undefeated with a 7-0 record. This includes a 37-27 win over Mount Vernon last Tuesday.

EH Athletics News - February 5, 2018
- Congrats to Clayton Cochard who finished 2nd place in the 195 lb division at the Wrestling Regional and Jordyn Wills who finished 3rd at 152. Both will be advancing to the Semi-State at New Castle next Saturday.
- The girls swim team had an outstanding showing at the New Pal sectional. They finished 7th with 145 points and set 4 school records.
- Megan Marcum: 200 Free (2:10.26)
- Megan Marcum: 100 Breast (1:19.25)
- 200 Free Relay: 1:50.51 (Griesmeyer, Huffman, Marcum, and Profitt)
- 400 Free Relay: 4:09.02 (Griesmeyer, Huffman, Marcum, and Profitt)
- The girls varsity basketball team lost a close one to Shenandoah in the Sectional Semi-Final on Friday. The girls finished a good season with a 14-10 record.
- With a victory over Cowan this past Saturday the boys varsity basketball team moved to 6-1 in the MEC which keeps them tied for the lead with two conference games remaining.
