• Congrats to Olivia Evans who was the overall Middle School girls Cross Country County Champion last week! 
• Other Highlights of the Cross Country County Meet. 
• Skyler Schrope earned All-County honors by finishing 9th in the boys meet. 
• MS Top 10 Finishes- Boys- Edric Miller (4th), Preston Markley (5th) 
• Congrats to Daniel Campbell who at the Delta Invitational ran a 17:24 placing him in the Top 10 all-time EH 5K times! 
• With the varsity football victory over South Decatur this past Friday Coach Armstrong earned his 100th Win as a Varsity Coach! 
• Our Boys Tennis Team placed 2nd out of 4 teams at the EH Tennis Invite this past Saturday. They will compete Thursday night vs. New Pal at MV in the Sectional. 
• Girls MS Tennis remains a perfect 9-0 as they head into a match with Greenfield tonight. 
• Our Varsity Volleyball Team placed 4th of 8 teams at the EH Volleyball this past Saturday.

EH Athletics News - September 17, 2018

• Congrats to our Girls MS Tennis Team- this past Saturday they were Champions of the EHMS Tennis Invite! Other teams participating were GC, Lapel, and Shenandoah. The girls team also is a perfect 7-0 on the season. Individual Champions at the MS Tennis Invite included. 
• Grace Stapleton, Savanah Hardin, Tori Parker, & Lexi Swauger, Bryce Wennen & Peyton Stephens 
• This past Saturday we hosted our Annual HS Cross Country Invite. The boys overall place 2nd and had 3 boys in the Top 10- Skyler Schrope (2nd), Daniel Campbell (3rd), and Nick Edwards (6th). The girls also had 3 in the Top 10- Annie Lindsay (4th), Ashton Willis (5th), and Lilly Combs (9th). 
• This coming Saturday we will be hosting Invites in Varsity Volleyball & Boys Tennis with both beginning at 9am. If you get a chance come out and support your Royals!

• Big Weekend coming up for the Royals 
• Friday, Sept. 14th 
• 4:30pm @ Shenandoah- MEC Tennis Finals 
• We have 4 of the 5 spots in Boys Tennis in the Finals 1 Singles- Kodey Huff, 3 Singles- Kegan Kendall, 1 Doubles- Brady Ellis & Keegan Bowman, 2 Doubles- Sammy Blocher & Peyton Robertson 
• 7pm @ Knightstown- Varsity Football will be at Knightstown for the Battle for the Plowshare & Anvil (Below is a History of the Anvil & some recent Pics are attached) 
• Began in 2006 EH currently holds the advantage 7-5 
• EH took first 2- Ktown then won 5 straight- EH has won the last 5

EH Athletics News - September 4, 2018

• Skyler Schrope (6th Place) and Daniel Campbell (18th Place) had a Top 20 finish at the HS Cross Country Invite at Indiana Wesleyan this past Saturday. Edric Miller (14th Place) and Preston Markley (20th) had top finish in the boys MS XC race also at IWU! 
• Out of the 5 spots in the boys conference tennis match we have 4 going to the Championship round. Kodey Huff at 1 Singles, Kegan Kendall at 3 Singles, Keegan Bowman & Brady Ellis at 1 Doubles, and Peyton Robertson & Sam Blocher at 2 Doubles. Each of them won in the first round this past Saturday before rain set in. The Championship rounds will be played on a date yet to be determined.
